DiDi vehicle inspection FAQs

How to prepare for my DiDi rideshare inspection?

Before you arrive
To avoid disappointment please familiarise yourself with the vehicle requirements outlined by DiDi and ensure your vehicle is in a passenger-ready state on the day of the inspection by removing personal items, baby seats, and other belongings beforehand.

On the day
Please ensure to arrive on time to your inspection and bring any documents if required. The inspection process will typically take around 30 minutes. After the inspection, the inspector will inform you whether your vehicle passes or if any issues need to be addressed to meet DiDi's standards.

Common issues to look out for

Tyres

Lights and Stickers
Ensure all lights are working, including headlights, park lights, signal indicator lights and brake lights.Hybrid / LPG / Electric Vehicles must have an identifying sticker affixed to the number plate.

Interior
The interior of the vehicle is also part of the inspection.
- All components must be relatively clean and free from stain.
- Interior must be clean and vacuumed.
- All seat belts and buckles must retract and operative.
- No tape or missing components on seat belt buckles or catches.
